132 miles. Nearest away game to me next season Crewe 89 miles away. Sent from my D5503 using Tapatalk
125 miles or 629 miles depending on the time of year. Although to be honest I've never made a home game from Burgundy.
That too. Honestly, it's like I'm feeding half the countryside. Not been on here since the end of the season as I've been snowed under with trying to get work done on the place down here. Just when I thought I was getting somewhere I end up spending days doing an emergency job on the old veggie patch to try to arrest one attack after another. Getting my head back above water now though - we might yet have something to eat in the coming months (fingers crossed). All complaints tongue in cheek of course - I can't really grumble about peaceful early mornings in the garden tending to the fruit and veg (no, that's not a euphemism).
132 miles, it's a bit of a drag coming home after a 7.45pm kick off. I've got Peterborough back, that'll be the closest match for me, about 50 miles each way.
That's not a euphemism. Is this? <img src ="http://www.adams-music.com/wf/instruments/euphonium/images/euphonium2.jpg">
you need to up the pace a little mate! it's hilly though give you that! Sent from my D5503 using Tapatalk
I thought a euphonium was a method of substituting a word or expression which might be unpleasant for one that isn't. The point where my family put me in a home is getting ever closer!
To be fair I've usually taken a slight deviation from the course to stumble into the Old No 7. Besides, there is never a rush to get to watch BFC ;-)
Distance from Chesham to Oakwell in the car is 164 miles but I tend to catch the train from Kings X with the other London Tykes so I kinda go via London so add on another 40 miles to that. In time it takes about 2 1/2 hrs to drive or a typical Saturday Home game means leaving my place about 8am and getting back at midnight.... admittedly a few wobbly walks and shandies involved in this journey....
