    I get 2, assuming it’s John Deehan at Norwich and Clive Allen at QPR. I’m not imagining that am I, Clive Allen did have a short spell with us?
    Yeah, he was tipped to have a great career, but Boro hit some big financial troubles and a lot of players left. Currie ended up at Darlington

    Word was, when Hull City signed him from Mexboro’ Town they were actually scouting an ex workmate of mine at Houghton Main pit called Paul Trickett.
