    Looking at it from a rest/recovery point of view. Read a lengthy and detailed item about this in a paper this year foucusing on teams that had an extra day or not when in champions league action. I think the points talley of the team with more rest time was 0.011% better (can't remember the exact figure but it was very low) . i.e no difference.

    Don't forget they play Derby in midweek but

    It might work against Norwich, in that Reading might find they need all three points all the more after Saturday. It might be Reading who have the advantage.
