How does that work lol. You forgot to add the word 'good' as in Nowt good to say, Or is he a wierd Dad.
While seasons - and contracts - run June to June across the UK and much of Europe. Other continents/countries are January-December, so players - like Pines was in the USA - can be available as free agents. So there could be other players from the USA, from Asia, South America or other countries that are free and could do a job for us. Finding them, persuading them to sign and getting a work permit might be too much effort though!!
Speaking of final pay cheques in their careers, I heard Mido and Leroy Lita were both seen in the fish shop yesterday.
What's that green stuff in the pots, is it yukky mushy peas. Anyway if that's the starter, what would Mr Mido have for his main course and pudding!!.
Mushy peas are lovely, especially with a pork pie (or sausages) and mash. Dollop of mint sauce in em too.
Nahh I can't stand the mushy green vomitty stuff. But a bit of ketchup or mustard or brown sauce on a pork pie, hhmmm that's getting me hungry now lol.
I was only thinking about players like Gale, just looking for a final pay day. Nothing against players from a different country running their contracts out to get a chance of playing in England.
Leroy Lita currently plays for Coalville Town in the Southern League Central Premier Division.....don't think he's bothered for a pay cheque.
Its a shame with Lita, because at the time I thought 'potentially' he could have been a great signing for us. Especially under Wilson, and when we were back in Lg One as well. And didn't he score on his debut when we won at Crewe that day.
God knows I'm very rarely sarcastic or pedantic, but the correct terminology is sloppy peas. And they're not yucky, much like garlic bread, they're the future!
