One of the oddest I've come across is my friend who is petrified of mayonnaise. I thought she was making it up when she first told me, but if there is a jar or sachet of mayo on the table during a meal, she can't eat anything and has to go out of the room. Seen it with my own eyes, bonkers. Other than that, she's absolutely normal and sane.

Not so much a fear, but I find wind turbines really intimidating. I don't like looking at them or driving near them.

Also Octopuses, never been up close to one, but they're freaky looking buggers. I don't like many things that live in the sea, but Octopuses are the worst.

I quite like octopuses. Especially when they're on my plate. Best place for anything that lives in the sea. I also find all marine life extremely disturbing when it's alive in the sea. Which I suppose is a little unfair of me, seeing as it was all there a long time before I was, and will no doubt still be there long after I am gone.

Roundabouts. They terrify me, apart from ones that have traffic lights, they're not too bad.

Also the touch of rough wood. If im in a restaurant and they give me a steak knife with an unpainted wooden handle, I have to wrap it in a napkin. I have to wrap the handle of the sweeping brush at work in a bin liner.
