Wish they would. When we're playing crap, the posts on this BBS aren't even representative of this BBS, never mind the 8,000 regulars.

To be honest, I don't think we'll make it any way. Next three games are tough, really tough. Three draws would be three good results. Anything more than that is bonus time. And we haven't made a defensive error for 6 games (the one we conceded at Oldham was just a good goal), which is unheard of for us, so we're due. I think we're good enough to get results in the rest of the games, but confidence might take a dip if we slip down the table after these three matches.

If we go up, I'll buy a season ticket and hope we stay up next season. If we don't, I'll buy a season ticket and hope we win promotion. When you're stuck with your club, it doesn't make all that much difference anyway, you go to games and hope they win whatever league they're in. Next season will be a good season if we don't sack the manager and keep hold of the players we've signed and developed. Or, if we have to sell, we get barrow loads of cash. Wouldn't mind a decent cup run too.

I don't think we have it in us to beat Swindon or MK Dons, which is what we'd need to do to get promoted - but confidence and momentum are with us so who knows ?

Either way I'll still have my ST, waiting for Johnson's inevitable sacking next March/April.

I fully get where you're coming from. But I'd rather worry about next season as a Championship club than next season as a League One outfit. As for our board, they keep telling us they've changed, that they're doing things differently, but then they've said that every time they've appointed a new manager. So as you say, we can only go on experience and experience suggests they'll make the same old mistakes. Very little we as supporters can do about that. I still believe the vast majority of us would have preferred not to have removed Danny Wilson and yet the board thought otherwise. So they'll do as they please. And were we to be promoted, and then start next season awfully, yes I reckon they'd sanction a load of high cost, short term loanees and that yes, those amongst us who suggested Danny had to go will be the same lads calling for LJ to go. Noticed how quiet they are on here now? They were on here all day during Danny's final month or so. And they'll be back doing it as soon as LJ isn't getting regular results.

    It's all so inevitable.

But I'd take that over another season down here where there could be all of the above, but in League One (like we've had this term). Save for a few weeks this season, it's been a bloody hard job being a patient and understanding BFC supporter. It seems those in charge of it are more similar in mindset to those lads who only post on here in the final days of our managers' tenures..

I love coming on here and taking the piss out of the braindead...Mind you, Moanman's put me on his ignore list, so it's less special.

    Take promotion? In a heartbeat,
