Port vale in 60s,( 66 i think) buses parked at top of hill, 2 chippy rowe coaches from cudworth go down the hill. Port vale fans at bottom of hill all scattered as young Arthur rowe ( david rowes dad) put his foot down and went through them. Our driver bill ( lived in pinfold cottages in cudeth ) slowed down and the vale fans bricked the coach. The father and son who were sat opposite my old man and me were lucky the window didnt go through at the time. By the time we got home it had completely gone, didnt get home til the early hours and we were all frozen through. I know the father and son but cant remember their name( tall bloke from top end of cudeth ) lol.
The incident with the fan getting dropped off in penistone was in the 70s the lads on our bus grabbed him and we chucked him out just over the border back in bsly. We were on our way back from playing stockport.
