Bolt? I'd be surprised if he wasn't.

As opposed to saying a sprinter must be cheating because he's the fastest sprinter who beats other drugs cheats. Now that's stereotyping.

No it isn't. It might be making an assumption but it's not stereotyping.

You were racially stereotyping I'm afraid.

No it's stereotyping based on a persons profession. and mine was a none serious comment. Stop taking yourself too seriously. Chill out. Take some happy pills stop listening to dirge. The world will seem a happier place.

My first comment was tongue in cheek. I won't be changing the music I listen to though.

Problem is, because I have such a downer on the club people think I am a miserable **** all the time when in reality I'm a reight laugh. Honestly.

I think they should all take drugs. Sprinters, cyclists etc. At least then we'll know it's a fair race.

    No

As said above, it is cleaner than it ever has been, but there is still stuff goes on. And as for the stuff I heard about the Spanish team / Barca / Real Madrid ..... all on dopes and transfusions for years til FIFA paid for the evidence to "go away", then football is not that clean either.

Its a fine line between 'illegal' and 'performance enhancing'. The more and more I get into cycling, the more and more I learn. A family friend is the Soigneur for a pro-team - he uses the example of stuff like EPO ...... it was used for years before it was 'discovered' and there is stuff being used now that one day will shown to be bad. Will todays top Pros be shamed once it has been found to be widely used and deemed illegal ? Like life in general, the bad guys are always one step ahead of the good guys. My mate also gave another good example. There is something illegal that gives the body a slow-release energy boost for 8 - 12 hours. It is the equivalent of having 8 large bowls of pasta or porridge before a ride and releases similar stimulants. The latter would make it too uncomfortable to perform - imagine laiking footie after 8 big bowls of pasta ? BUT, there is a (currently) legal substance that enables a cyclist to eat said 8 bowls of pasta, then ensures they **** it out at the point the energy has been released. Same benefit, same endorphine boost as the banned stimulant, but legal ! Then there is the issue of calves blood. A rider could previously inject calves blood which increased red blood cell count. It was the equivalent of eating 12 calves livers - it is now illegal. But they can now safely eat said calves livers and dispense accordingly.

So no quite clean, but the fact remains 1 cyclist in the peleton dopes and they all get a bad name. But Lionel Messi is given growth hormone for the duration of his teens, goes on to earn a quarter of a million a week, help his national team to a world cup final and he is a global hero ! ! !

It's hard to say, it's definitely reduced anyway. With the biological passport it's tough to get away with blood doping & EPO.

I imagine there's still some at it but they'll be on substances that only make tiny differences. The one I'm suspicious about at the minute is Contador, who after looking like he was riding clean or certainly cleanish for the past 2 years seems back to his best. His best been when he was blood doping.

The idea that Cavendish is doping is ridiculous, there's nothing at all to suggest he's doped / doping.

One thing you notice about sprinters who dope is that they get over climbs well e.g. Zabel. Cav's horrendous at climbing, every mountain stage he struggles to beat the time limit.

Agreed. So disapointing when it all came out about Marion Jones because she was quality at a number of events. Obviously now it's clear to see why. Plus her husband was a drugs cheat.

Why should it be against the rules? If everyone can take supplements no one is disadvantaged.
