Does anyone else think Southampton are being pathetic

I once got sent off in a York and District Saturday Premier League match. The ref made me walk back on the pitch to actually see the red card (second booking), to which I said, "Ref, that's a ******* joke". I got a letter from the FA advising me of a £65 fine and a 10 week ban, reduced to 8 weeks because of my previous clean record, for foul and abusive language to a referee. If I wanted to appeal I had to write to Lancaster Gate who would conduct a hearing in my absence, and if unsuccessful the ban and fine would be doubled.

Now, I'm trying not to whinge, but I don't see professionals getting the same treatment
