Does Barnsley have a racist reputation?

    so....in conclusion....

    blimey this is a long thread!
    The general consensus is that the Barnsley does not have a particular problem with racial issues, in fact less so than many other areas, due to the lack of diversity. However there is a problem with ignorance amongst the Barnsley population. There is also a problem with the perception of the wider country in that the town is seen to be racist.

    So what can we all do about this?
