I thought it waas a valid observation, rather interesting that people who harm kids often start with harming animals. This gives a good insight and perhaps a means of treating these people before they actually harm any kids...prevention rather than cure and all that.

Seems I'm an idiot for understanding that though!

It's psychology....if you can see what leads to a behaviour, then it gives the opportunity to prevent that behaviour.

I'm sure you would admit that if we can stop people from harming kids before they get to that stage, by identifying the behaviour (i.e. harming animals) and give them the necessary treatment then that's a good thing.

Would you not agree, if that is the case, then it shows a means to prevent people from harming children by identifying the predisposition before they get to that stage?
