Sounds like a Frimpong/Deon Burton type to me. As in get to Barnsley for a few months and see what its like. Coz if you don't graft at Watford thats the kind of place you'll end up.
We played 3-5-2/5-3-2 on saturday even though Wolfe did a good job. the main reason we looked better was we played 3 in centre-mid so had an extra body in there.
I thought so too, but would describe him as a attacking midfielder in the hole behind the front two based on where he played on his debut on Saturday.
Didn't we stiff them for a friendly at the start of the season so we could get battered by Man City? Wouldn't be surprised for them to deservedly cancel this at the 11th hour either.
Not the players I'd have hoped for but when we're so poor at creating, and taking, clear cut chances, I can't argue with two attack minded signings. Just hope they can both hit the ground running and give us some momentum heading in to next season.
I’ve been watching some highlights of Quina’s last stint in championship and he looks a proper talent. Pace, skill and can tackle too. Let’s just hope we can get the best out of him cause he’s been getting some stick at Fulham by Silva for having a poor attitude
Quina looks to have some pedigree on paper. Played more pro games than Desperate Dan therefore experienced by our standards. I have no idea where he fits in but we have a new formation every 35 minutes and our left backs magically morph into strikers and back again in the time it takes the board to revolve the drinks cabinet. So neither does anyone else.
There's no doubt Quina would add a huge amount of talent to our squad. Application is the only issue, but hopefully he'll see Barnsley as a last chance saloon and buck his ideas up.
