That afternoon I became worried about my eyesight so, following Government guidelines, I went for a test drive in my car. This was fortunate as after a few miles my sight deteriorated to a point where I had to pull over. I was then approached by a man I could not see but who told me he was a police officer. He informed me that my vehicle had been travelling at 70mph in a 30mph zone and had struck a pedestrian believed to be a Mr Dominic Cummings. I replied that due to my impaired vision I could see neither the road signs or the speedometer. I had noticed an impact and vibration underneath my vehicle but assumed this to be pot holes. As I was following guidelines throughout this incident the policeman was happy for me to continue on my way.

Just imagine driving your wife and kids in a 90 minute round trip to test your eyesight.

Just digest that sentence for a minute.

Then just imagine people are defending that as making sense and an act of responsibility.

    It's unbelievable.

To a picturesque tourist spot that we had all been told to avoid.

He also says he felt ill when they parked up so they had a stroll and sat on a bench......still ill then but came out of isolation and returned to work.

The Media knows there’s flaws in this , the public knows there’s flaws in this ,everyone knows there flaws in this .
Boris has said that’s the end of it . he can’t defend it so that’s that .
Only the Tory party have any say in this as the public opinion don’t matter for four years snd plenty of time to turn opinion .
It looks like the Tory’s have settled for a few sabres rattling a Junior Tory minister resigning maybe someone else to go If it helps them but it doesn’t matter because that’s that he’s staying . Only the Tory Party have any say in this and it looks like they are as morally bankrupt as their leaders .

Whilst we are all extolling the virtues of Mr Cummings - and just in case you missed it - he recently editied an old Blog to make it appear as though he prediced Coronavirus a year ago, then referred back to said blog. I wouldnt believe a word he says - even if it was just the time of day

Just listened to one of our M.P.'s on the BBC news backing Cummings for what he as done, Miriam Cates M.P. for Penistone she says Cummings as done nothing wrong. The people of Penistone and district deserve better they had that Angela "funny tinge" Smith now they have this article. I would not give 2 pence for them both.

Given that MPs (mainly from the Tory party) just voted to return to the House of Commons, where they can mingle in the voting lobbies - against the "Work from home if you can" directive - Tory MPs being generally older and thus more susceptible to COVID, and the rate of infection increasing again after the bungled communications around VE Day, by-elections are more than possible in the near future. That majority might not be as big in the near future (although elections are on-hold under the Coronavirus 2020 Act).

Yes, and I think they're all stupid. However, the rules have changed to allow people to now travel.

I would also wager the vast majority of people are not in charge of creating government policy.
