Would you care to expand that on that comment ? ... in the 60s when I was young you were taught to respect teachers, doctors, nurses, the police etc if you got into trouble with them then you also had to explain yourself at home. There's too much 'our little tommy's an angel' now and it's all someone else's fault.
For ever sick twisted person there's someone running, swimming jumping to raise money for charity to help people less fortunate, you only have to look at the fund raising that happens on this site.
Ah, my apologies. I thought you were referring to Don Rowing not respecting authority figures. As in, him, slating the government, which I don't think he was doing. However, your actual point, I agree with 100%.
No worries mate one thing I wanted to point out is that when I was young there was a lot of whacking going on particularly at school but it was always the same lads. I didn't smack my kids, but they were taught right from wrong when very young and to respect other people and their property. They're 22 and 20 and have never been in trouble at school or with the police. The point I'm trying to make is that it's poor parenting that is at the heart of the problem, if your mum and dad don't give a **** why should the kids.</p>
