And one last point - seems we're quite good at releasing info that we want to at a time to allow us to blame other people. Releasing the agents fees for Mido/Silva for example. What were the fees for Scotland/Delap/O'Grady/Perkins/Dawson etc?

The progress and subsequent transfer value of John Stones could not have possibly been accounted for prior to the season kicking off. Neither could the cup run, particularly by someone as pragmatic as Don. But I do see your point. I often remind people and myself, that before we can open the turn styles or even kick a ball, there is an enormous operational system that has to be budgeted for and implemented. I suspect the desperate pre-Xmas loans put us on the back foot for this season, as will have Hill's severance.

Well done the police, ****ing mental making it a home game for them giving them more tickets. It's a must win, millions at stake and he's bothered about a few grand. I'd have given them 100 tickets and put em in top corner. Like someone on here said, it's our relegation battle not their promotion party.

I suppose that's my point Gally, those figures were given to discredit Keith and push blame away from the powers that be.

Yeah but let's consider the fee for Stones (given his chance by Hill) and the likely transfer revenues from selling, say Perkins and Dawson. Even dare I say it Wiseman ?

There's a theme here Gally, and it's that whoever the manager is at the time he seems to be accused of spending money like water, all off their own back, no recourse to the Board or anything. The buck stops and all that.

Dyson's point is a salient one - the information is leaked - he's not announced it to the press, but to representatives of an internet bulletin board - ooh I wonder what will happen ?he hasn't asked for confidentiality on this because in my opinion it suits his purpose to explain away the carnage coming if we go down, and trying to wash his hands of any responsibility.

I'm not having a go at him on a personal level, but I genuinely don't think he's suitable for the position he's got if this is an example of how he goes about his business. Whether it's his fault he's actually in the job is another matter.

Meanwhile the rest of the board stay schtum.
