I agree. I didn't used to mind them when they were in the lower leagues but as soon as they got to the Championship they started looking down their noses at us. I'm not particularly against them getting promoted as I reckon we'd have a great chance of getting 6 points off them. The Keepmoat is probably the least intimidated football ground I've ever been to.

Where do l start with this un... JR's a ******, folk not remember him in the ale house league? He's done nothing but back pedalling since we put their lucky two seasons against us to bed. Agree with LDred regarding their supporters, inbred gyppo's.

They'll end up fluffing the play offs.

You can tell when we haven't had a game when a pikey thread pops up.

They will not fluff the play offs as they will go up automatically
Not sure why people on here are jealous of em , I would rather they went up and played us next season

Just thought they had quietly gone about their job this season with small crowds lost their manager half way through season and big name players had dissapeared at end of last season. Likely to struggle again in Championship if promoted but 13 away wins so far is some achievement.

It is. In a **** league.

As I said previously, if they come up, that's one relegation spot filled next season.

Awful club. In fact, if anything, they're already a division higher than they ought to be.

That's how I see it too.

So do I. Plus as a football club owner he promotes us more than our own football club owner. He's regularly in the press speaking good things about us and being really positive in a "Tarn Cryer" style role.

There are big gaps in all the leagues whoever goes up from Championship will struggle next season Donny were badly run in the past when they could not afford to put down new tarmac in the Old Belle Vue Ground but in recent years Mr Ryan has transformed the set up Mansfield Town are well placed as well for a return to the Football League with a pro active chairman as well.

Have you ever been to Donny? Awful place, unfriendly people and I echo all the bad stuff said about them in this thread. If it wasn't for "Hume-gate" I'd definitely dislike them more than the blunts!

Also didn't like that they tried to create bad blood towards our club last year after that 1 idiot was rightly kicked out for shouting about Mr Sharp's baby.
It was 1 idiot and our fans were as disgusted with him as theirs, yet their fans and PR department tried to paint it like it was a few of us and we were laughing along, especially on their forums. Can't quite let that slide, pathetic underhand tactics to try to throw our season off.

The only reason they are a bit humble now is because they're relegated, if they come back up and get a win against us see how nice they are then!

Lot of irony in your post

I agree, I used to think he was a bit arrogant and naive with some of the things he said publically but over the last couple of years I have changed my opinion on him and I now think he is a very good chairman.

Quietly gone about their business? Small crowds? Lost their manager half way through the season? Big name players disappearing? Likely to struggle in the championship? Sounds like you are talking about us.

We should be very grateful to them, after all, they did let Saunders go to Wolves, so that's one less relegaton spot to worry about.

Of all the clubs in the mix, Wolves have the worst manager. Saunders started moaning about bad luck from the minute he arrived. They're already in victim mode. no chance of survival IMHO.

So thanks Donny, hope to see you next year in the Championship
