No one is or should not be anyway saying any of that, I just happen to think we papped ourselves playing Wigan.

You are right that this seaosn is different, last season we were **** or bust and therefore didn't give ourselves the option of subbing attacking midfielders for defensive ones.

 

This is the challenge this season - we could go **** or bust last season as we had a mini season to catch up - nobody truthfully expected us to - but we had a short term high intensity gameplan - totally unsustainable over 46 games.

Yes we never got amongst Wigan, but we have a full season to navigate.

 

Agree with that. It's a difficult line between playing to our strengths and being over cautious..

We need to find a new mix that works given we can't have the intensity we had last season all this season.
