Really sorry to read this. I didn’t even know he was ill. Even though I only knew him by his posts I will miss him. My sincere condolences to you and your family and thankyou for coming on to let us know.
Sorry for your loss, he was someone who’s opinion I always valued on here, seemed a great bloke, sad indeed.
So sorry to hear your news Andy. I have enjoyed your Dad's posts over the years, especially when he talked from a position of personal and professional experience. All the best to you and your family.
My condolences to you and your family, Andy. Thank you for taking the time to share the sad news with us, at this difficult time. I know your Dad will be in all our thoughts tonight. RIP Donny Red.
Bloody hell. My heart sank when I heard the news Andy. One of the best contributors to this forum so it’s good to hear he took so much from it. Doesn’t even begin to compare with yours and the family’s loss though. Wonderful words in tribute. He would have been proud of you for those. Many condolences.
That's a terrible shock Andy. He hadn't posted for a while but I never realised how ill he was. I worked with your dad for years after he came to Wakefield. Always a gentleman, extremely knowledgeable and always on top of his brief. Some of his jokes could be excruciating but he never stopped and that's what made him Tom James. The end of an era. I'll miss him.
RIP Donny Red. You were a lovely poster, loved reading your memories and anecdotes, I'll miss them. Sending love and condolences to your family and friends. The warmth of this forum, at times like this, is priceless.
