Very sorry to read this Andy. I hope some small comfort can be taken from reading all the kind words about your old man. Best wishes to all your nearest and dearest.
Sorry for your loss. Lovely words from yourself, your dad was a great contributor to the forum and will be missed by many I'm sure.
omg, he never once said he was poorly to my recollection, its strange because he liked something I put the other day and when I saw it I felt quite proud, always had very strong ideas and opinions and seemed a very fair minded fella, R I P , Donny Red
I’m so sorry to hear this, and thank you so much for such a moving post. I remember the game you mentioned as if it were yesterday. Like you, I went with my Dad and I’d be just a couple of years younger than you - I spent the Monday morning after the game walking through a recreation of David Currie’s goals on my own in the playground! I’m glad you have such wonderful memories of going to games with him and I hope they bring you some comfort. All the very best to you and your family.
A heat breaking, yet at the same time beautifully written, post. Sincere condolences to you and your family, Andy. R.I.P. Tom.
That's so sad. I had noticed he had not posted for a while and was wondering if he was ok. I'm so sorry to hear this. I loved his posts and the clear pleasure he got from talking about things. He always had a little anecdote for everything He never had a bad word to say about anyone. My love goes out to you and your family.
I shall miss your dad Andy. I liked what he had to say on here and he struck me as a good fair minded bloke. So sorry for your - and our - loss. Best wishes to you and your family.
