    In defence of the centre halves..

    They played him offside and got it right. Austin was playing him onside after stepping up a stride late.

    Yes but we deseved at least 1 point

    Manone very unlucky - dont think their striker knew anything about the goal.
    Also nearly had an own goal at the other end.
    Real shame we had to sacrifice Richards - I think we missed him more than some might think up front. But great battling spirit from the team and Manone did fine.

    Hope Hassells injury isnt too serious!

    Excellent second half. If we'd had eleven men we would definitely have got something from the game. For me it should show Ritchie that we don't have to attack gung-ho away from home. We kept our shape well and looked dangerous on the break. Don't know if anyone else would agree but defence looked better with Kay & Hassell than it has with Kay & Reid. A similar performance at Hillsboro please and we might just end 23 years of hurt. Here's hoping...

    We could debate that one all night but even if they went to play him offside they should not have come out before the full backs. As a defender you can't just come charging out playing the offside trap if you are not behind the full backs.
    One of the centre backs should be controlling when we push out and when we hold the line.

    looked good this evening, and though Hassell did very well along with Kay. As mentioned, Togwell was outstanding. 11 V 11 would have been a different game.

    Saying that though, sure it wont be long before someone is knocking it!
