And the answer is exactly the same as the "what would Ritchie have done" question.

We don't fecking know. None of us have a crystal ball.

However, I cannot for the life of me see why anyone thinks achieving your targets in any job is a sacking offence. Brought in to keep us up. Kept us up. Therefore deserves to keep is job and deserves the chance to SHOW if he has what it takes to move us forward long-term

RE: I'm still at a total loss as to why you always bring Ritchie back into any argument

No I'm not obsessed.

Im just pissed off with those who come on here slagging Davey off. If they keep having a go at him for what he has achieved this season then I will keep bringing up the situation we were in with AR and RH.

I don't understand that logic

If I were trying to defend Davey, as you appear to be, I'd be highlighting his good points rather than the negative aspects of a previous regime.

Lets see:

[*]All transfers are risks. Didnt andy Richie sign Richard Kell from Scnuthorpe
[*]Williams needed games to shed his gut at a competative level he was not getting that at Oakwell. Hence the loan
[*]Hasnt Bobby Howard been skipper the last half a dozen games and Paul Reid has been club captain since he joined hasnt he[*]Anthony Kay has been a **** and deserves his humiliation. From all accounts he has broke the no beer rule several times and come to training still half cut. Model professionalismA valid point with the formation but some times it worked sometimes it didnt.BIt of naiviety there[*]heckingbottom regains his place through hard work.Grant McCan will be a solid player for the club and will eventually push togwell out of the squad

Im bored now.

BRIAN Howard.
Who said that Kay was still drunk when he turned up for training? I have been away for a few days and have not heard that,or are you just putting your own spin on it?
I think that you will find that on this forum you are not allowed to put any players on that Ritchie signed OR wanted to sign. HE DID NOT WANT TO SIGN ANYBODY, I thought this had been made quite clear since Davey took over and we signed loads of players, albeit mostly crap.
