i think you might find that Johnson has been literally been placed over a barrel by Starmer at PMQs and is now trying his best to get out of it. I bet thats still not good enough for you is it???????????
It's well-known on here, that as soon as a thread is created attacking the government for another despicable act, a clutch of posters appear referring to Jeremy Corbyn. It's where the whole 'but Corbyn' remark stemmed from. I've absolutely zero interest in debating the former Labour leader, who departed nearly two years ago. The 'but Corbyn' line is basically myself (and others who use it) slow hand-clapping those on here who trotted out such drivel in recent years.
you must be a tory with a response like that. come on, WHAT would you do if YOU were the leader of the opposition?????????? still no answer to that one have you...
89 stone Ian Blackford calling for more restrictions and personal responsibility. On the upside - at least he's got the balls to call for Johnson's resignation.
The attacks on Starmer started at post 4 of this thread. They accuse him of not doing enough but rarely mention that his powers are presently limited by the 80 seat majority his predecessor ceded to the Tories.
Thanks to JC? . Yes it was all his fault wasn’t it. Behave. We know he’s not going to resign but the pressure needs to be on him constantly. Incompetent, corrupt, liar etc
New COVID restriction briefings coming today (domestic) and tomorrow (international). In no way trying to deflect attention away from the Xmas party scandal, absolutely not.
If the best response Johnson has is to accuse Starmer of 'playing politics' at PMQ's you know he literally has no defence left to give. I'm not sure that announcing a Cabinet Office enquiry to what allegedly happened literally inside his own residence is quite the mic-drop response he expected it to be. Do you think he's realised yet that he's also just committed to give all the available info on the party to the Met Police?
I haven't personally referred to Starmer, nor am I interested in another boring debate about the last election. I've just watched PMQs and I thought Starmer was brilliant. It was a tap-in for him, of course, but still put away very nicely.
Meant 13th November in my previous post. There were regulations in place on 13th November, so once again potentially more breaches.
A few months ago, he was getting away with such remarks in the house. But I noted a very different response in there today. I think he's done. Stick a fork in him. And we'll be onto the next ****. I've put my own values aside now. I just want Labour in, in whatever guise. Because the alternative, that we're living in, is absolutely batsh*t.
I notice bozo apologised for the impression given, rather than apologising for his complete disregard for his own public health guidance and his staff laughing about it. The man has no shame
Mate I'd want Labour in any guise, but at present an election is a long way away. This PM and cabinet are dangerous, there are some moderate Tories so all we can hope for is an internal changing of the guard.
