Nice edit I'm sure every single driver on the road has broken the speed limit once in their driving career. But dismissing the importance of using your mirrors is just absurd! Try explaining that one in court after you've just killed a biker.
i never said it was pointless using the mirrors at all, i said its stupid making you check them every time you change gear, well every 2 seconds, who honeslty does that?
Anyone who knows how to drive properly And how to use their observations. They wouldn't teach you it if it wasn't important.
Maybe you should go and contact the IAM Institute of Advanced Motorists and book your advanced driving test. I don't drive how I was "taught" during my lessons, I drive to a much higher standard now, the way people are taught these days is shambolic to say the least.
I do thanks, and I have the proof. As I said, join the IAM and they'll open you up to a world where mirrors are needed. Why should your laziness to simply turn your head endanger other peoples lives? Unreal.
Are you saying i don't use my mirrors at all? Of course i do, just not as much as i did when i learnt, Its not mirrors that are the killer its speed and i can say i'm a safe driver never been involved in an incident
RE: Have A Gallon Before That certainly has crossed my mind! If I fail tomorrow I'm thinking of going to another part of the country to it, there's too many dodgy roads round here with surprises just around the corner. It's funny how I've lived here all my life and been just about everywhere in the town as a passenger but somehow I always get directed down a road or to an area that I didn't know existed
Just because you've never been involved in an accident doesn't make you a safe driver! The main objective to driving should be safety, which is helped massively by good observations. The one time you can't be bothered to use your mirrors could be the one time you're involved in an accident.
Mirrors... ...they are there purely so you have an awareness of what is going on around you. Thing is though you can glance at them and know exactly what is around you in a fraction of a second....how does the examiner know when you have or haven't looked.
Because You're supposed to physically move your head so they can see you're using your mirrors. Whereas in reality, you know you can be looking in your mirrors without having to move your head a great deal, but you have to make it obvious to them where you're looking.
I dont use my mirors at all, been driving 3 years never had an accident and never will cos im such a good driver lol
3 strikes and out I'm afraid........... anyone that takes 4 attempts is not cut out for driving, sorry if this upsets you, but get a bike.
Good luck what time is at? Jus think there is no need to be nervous. Jus drive like you would normally. Drive defensively and don't make any rash moves.
Mirrors very important!! whats going off around you is crucial. Could be life and death, its not just what is in front of you! were you joking?
