Duff linked to Swansea

As far as I can see lots have said he is one of some of interest to them, nothing credible that he is actually talking or the club has accepted though.

 

Genuinely, I haven't seen a single reputable source that says anything other than they've made an approach. I agree though that the club could have either confirmed or denied the approach. To me though, that says its either a done deal and to be announced imminently, or isn't anywhere near close. The optimist in me reckons it's the latter, simply with the speed that it's all come about.

 

This thread title needs editing to add Sheffield Wednesday.

 

Say they put a statement out tonight saying no approach has been made, will there be a precident then to put a statement out everytime something changes? There's people in this thread questioning whether Khaled was lying in his interview on Wednesday last week. I sometimes feel the club is damned if they do and damned if they don't.

I think that each and every one has the right to type out whatever they want to.

I haven't seen anything in this thread that confirms ought about Duff going, although Pete O'Rourke is usually reasonably reliable. However, I have seen a tweet from JAQ today, can't remember where (BFC Polls or something?) that without saying it verbatim basically confirms Duff's gone.

Maybe they just can't say anything until Martin is officially confirmed as having left Swansea. Poor though that a director can tweet but the club hasn't put out a statement at the very least saying the same.

 

Think we're safe. Given recent developments Swansea will go for O'Neil or Moore. You're all gerrin stressed over nowt.

That is Ok if you Assume that Duff has no say in the transfers in and out . Otherwise at a critical time we would be rudderless and until the replacement is found we would have no idea the direction he/she would want to take tactically, the system he would want to play and so what type of players he is looking for
In fact recruiting any players when you are managerless is going to be challenging as potential players want to know who will be in charge before committing pen to paper.

 

I mean, that could quite easily refer to Mads and have nowt to do with Duff. Or vice versa.
