This duff saga makes me laugh if it,s true.
He,s banging on about these players that didn’t,t want to be here last pre season then he goes and does the exact same thing as the players that left.
    Fukin hypocrite.

For goodness sake stop blaming the club. after the progress made this season its nonsense to think that the club can do anything to stop him from going if he wants to leave. if he wants to leave and Swansea meet the buy out conditions the club is powerless. If he really wants to leave then he's no use to us. I've loved the guy
perfect fit. if he stays ill be overjoyed. if he doesn't, then we move on
Buy out clauses are common place in football
I'll say it again....stop blaming the club when you don't know all the facts....in fact none of us know any facts yet.
Place some trust in Khaled, the other guy who's helped transform us this season.
Comments about not going down to Oakwell again and not buying a season ticket because Duff might leave are truly not worthy. Fickle? Football fans? Nah.

If Duff goes we need to get straight in for Darren Moore.

I'd say we need to move fast for someone weather that is Moore or Devaney. Get someone in asap or it will effect transfer targets.

Moore and Devaney were in the same barnsley side back in the early 00s maybe Moore with devaney assistant.

Playing tippy tappy pissing about at the back football.

We don’t have anybody in the squad remotely suited to that.

And I don’t think he’s that good a coach. He’s got a decent win record at all the clubs, that is true - with a good squad for the level he was at.

Also has a record for tailing off and players performing worse as time went on, rather than him coach and improve them.

I think there are a few people I’d have to replace Duff before him. Paul Cook, Luke Williams, Jon Brady. Even Mark Kennedy. Eric Ramsay is always mentioned. Less realistic targets I’d take, Chris Wilder, Gary O’Neill.

None of them will be more genuine or a better person than Moore. But in my view there are better managers.

I’m still hoping beyond hope we don’t need to replace Duff at all.

The Wednesday fans are quite complementary on how he's got the best out of players like palmer and brought him on.

Paul Cook? He's only ever been good with good players for the level he's at or spending money the club haven't got like at wigan.

Moore would have my full backing if appointed but he wouldn't be my choice - for me he underachieved last year given the budget and squad.

I can’t believe how many people want Darren Moore, I think it’s completely the wrong appointment for us.

I wouldn’t say 96 points was under an achievement. Lost probably their two best players to injury in the run in which understandably lead to a dip in form.

Wednesday we’re probably the 2nd best team in the division after Ipswich but Plymouth’s season was an anomaly!

Like most, Moore wouldn’t be my first choice but not the worst.

We played them 3 times and they were dog egg each time. I've seen nothing from Moore which suggests he has any adaptability or capacity for original thought - their season collapsed after a couple of players were injured and he couldn't find an alternative way to beat even poor teams.

In the playoff final he was thoroughly out-thought by Duff, did nothing pro-active to press the man advantage and they were the worst team until we were knackered and even then we arguably should have nicked it.

    No ta.

One thing is clear, we are statistic based and recruitment of the manager is also statistic based.
If Duff leaves (still desperate lot hoping he does not) we will bring a manager in that plays in the way we have become accustomed to, involving high pressure / pressing football. They probably have a list of potential candidates based on this data.

If that's the case, Darren Moore will be top of the list.

But what progress? The handy loan players have all gone back with seemingly little chance of return. Our influential head coach and captain appear on the verge of departing. So here the club is - yet again - back at square one. Sorry, but that is not progress in my book. We tout the mantra of being 'data-driven'. But every club is using 'data' This no longer gives us much of an edge. What we are really doing is running the club on the cheap in the hope of picking up bargains who can be developed, but then, sadly sold on. So we have to start again. And every time we repeat the cycle we have the chance of a Schopp/Asbaghi season as much as a Duff one.

Not sure if that’s right - they don’t rank particularly high in terms of turnover of possession which I think is one area that we focus on (the statistics that we top the league )
