He should be playing as a more attaching midfielder with Benson as the defensive mid. Connell is more effective in the final 3rd for me.

Yeah it makes you sick and just more angry doesn't it, it certainly doesn't offer any consolation whatsoever.
Absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional behaviour by all the officials that day.
There can be no other way of explaining it, apart from saying 'corrupt', amongst certain other words!!.

 

Benson should be defensive and Connell attacking?

Never. It should be the other way around.

Not that it matters much however cos neither of them, nor Craig or DKD or Phillips or Russell, have the talent to attack with the ball at feet.

So all they're doing is kicking it wide or forward. Where talent is even thinner on the ground.

 

Good point that, I do notice a lot of completely pointless passes in any game I watch.
