Dunno if this is already common knowledge, but just in case

Loyalty system in the pipeline but they need to work out how not just the purchaser of away tickets gets the rewards. They realise that.

So if someone goes to Oakwell for ten tickets for the same away game that all ten purchasers get their loyalty points put on their ST card instead of all them points going on just the card used by the person who goes to the ground for them or orders them online.

I believe print at home tickets will be an option from next season with this new entry system

With just over a month until the kick off, I'm a little disappointed that the price of matchday tickets hasn't been announced officially, and that as it stands, I've no idea how they want me to buy them.

By the way, how does that option work?

Be careful that will be seen as you moaning and slagging the club off in some quarters

Buy online print them at home on your computers printer, assuming you have one. Each one will have a similar barcode to be scanned (once only) at the turnstyle.

It's a laptop, don't have a printer. Can I print them at work on their printer?

WOuld have thought so. I know it has been mentioned as a possibility but it hasn't been announced yet so maybe it won't happen this season.

Print at home tickets are usually just PDF files, so you can print anywhere that's connected to a printer. Standard fayre

The completist in me is sad having kept every season ticket book I've ever had but of course it's progress. The away tickets thing should be easy enough to sort out.

Thanks for that Jay - didn't know that about renewal.

Although do miss out on the perverse pleasure of throwing the ticket in the bin at the end of another disappointing season!

I could be wrong, but any same system would have all the matches you've been to stored on they our account, so when you go for a ticket swipe thi card and they'll know exactly what away/cup games you've been to.

It's something that needed doing. Nothing to criticise the club about but this is something that was in place at Roots Hall when I went back in 2006, so there's nothing really to praise either. They've done what needed to be done but not before time.
