15 Feb 64. FA Cup 5th Round a mere lad but became hooked. Remember Law scoring 2 goals and putting his arm in the air holding his sleeve which we copied. Lost 4- 0 and think Herd and Best got the others. Man U had a cracking side in them days so no complaints. Cracking atmosphere in Oakwell with over 38,000 there and us young kids were passed overhead down the front so we could see. Cannot see that happening now !

I was there. Still got the ticket - cost 2/6d (12 and a half pence in new money). Started at the back of the Ponty end and could hardly see anything. Moved round to the Kop and stood by that connecting sliding gate for a perfect view. Overwhelming experience seeing the likes of Law, Charlton and Best on the Oakwell pitch.
