    Just the same as under Collins. Players looked petrified. Getting a new manager in next week is absolutely imperative, even if it's just a short term appointment. Like others, I'd get Coilin in on Monday.

    Positives today for me were that Connell was back, Kane was brilliant and both Roberts and Williams played well.

    Williams best player on the field. We just lacked urgency but I thought Northampton were very organised and withdrew our press!

    How come we only managed 7 shots (dismal attempts would be more descriptive) in 96 minutes then?

    shouldn’t be, I don’t think it would have been any easier against Peterborough tbh! Plus if by some miracle won, we would have a better chance in the final.
    I do think we need somebody to motivate us and increase confidence levels though

    Kane wasn't brilliant.gave Cole and McAtee nothing to work with....took his goal well though tbf.

    I've been om the the EFL page that states 3.30pm next Saturday but BBC sport says 7.45pm kick off.

    It was a improvement on stevenage, Lincoln, Blackpool, Cambridge etc.
    Still not great but it is what it is, he's had 4 days with them I didn't expect to play like prime Brazil. I don't fancy us in the play offs.

    you can transition from defence to attack without wingers. A tiny percentage of clubs play with actual wingers these days

    Both wing backs very poor, literally might aswell play with a flat back 5 as the attacking input is non existent.

    Phillips, Cadden, Cole big game players that just aren't delivering often enough.

    You would have to say at least two changes for the next game but the squad is so weak we just don't have the quality to come in.

    I would like to know how or why the failed recruitment hasn't been brought up or discussed by anyone at the club? Are we meant to just think it was all Collins fault and everything will be rosy with the new manager?

    That last sub was mad. 40 seconds to go, 30 seconds get added on for a sub, absolutely no benefit to it and meant that we actually played 6 mins extra during which we conceded.
