    RE: Please tell me.

its not that hard really. On the first home game of the season it takes me about an hour to get up. I have to stop every two stèeps for a rest and a sandwich. But once there at my seat i stay there for the whole season and don't come down again until the last game. Its gets a bit lonely at times especially during the international breaks but thats what us fatties have to do to watch our team.

in this day and age its crazy that all seats are all exactly the same size.

    they should have:

    * some seats 10-20% bigger (with a 10-20% surcharge)
    * some seats 10-20% smaller (for kids, slim folk or people who want 10-20% discount)

where's the incentive for being healthy here?

where's the freedom to pay more and choose to have more comfort?

and what would that have achieved?
Would you have moved or or smaller? No.
Simplest thing to do was complian through the proper channels and be issued with a different season ticket.
Enjoy your seats and try to be more considerate.

And how do you suggest they plan the seating out for that?

And how would a smaller seat warrant a reduction? They're going to have to rip the old one out and pay for a new 'smaller' seat in there.

    I'm guessing this is a wind-up.

    In this day and age

there should be hover chairs that would automatically position themselves for optimal viewing pleasure. It's 2009 fer jebus's sake! Pieces of plastic bolted to a slab of concrete is so 20th century. Oakwell needs to get with the times.

    Proper LOL

That's my uncle sat behind him.

I used to sit up there with him - he's a legend.

He's called Mick, and he's funny as ****.

Don't think he's the bloke from the original poster though, all the seats around him are taken up by his mates.
