I didn't like that one either. Wasn't a patch on this one. https://shinegiftshop.com/arsenal-soccer-jersey-away-retro-replica-1992-93.html?currency=GBP
They've had all sorts of colour combo's in the last 40 years. They had an Argentina style strip in the early 80s, of pale blue and white striped shirts, and black shorts. Then the white and black. Royal blue and white stripes. Then between 89 and 95, they had all sorts of combinations of red, white and blue strips. The main colour changing from season to season. From then on they've mainly had blue strips with white trim. Its odd, but I do often wonder whether our kit would be more appealing to people if we varied the kits a bit more. We had a fair bit of black on our 05/06 shirt. Maybe the odd flash of black, yellow or even green, similar to what Swindon and Walsall sometimes have.
Really like Walsall's kit, reminds me of an old Scarborough kit. Not sure I'd want green on our home kit however, though I miss those forest green keeper kits
I’m all for tradition. In my lifetime we’ve hardly changed the basic colours, and I’m happy with that. I would like us back in the early 1980s white socks though. Never again the hideous red and white hooped ones!
