Cannot believe what i read on here by some bfc fans.eg.play behind closed doors to finish season.promotion and relegation as it stands.etc.Im not bothered if liverpool dont win premier or leeds and rotherham dont get promoted.I just want us to stay up.

But you based it on a guess start date of March next year. I put forward Oct as an example not a guess. I believe. given the estimate. it could well be as late as summer next year. Which would then make more sense that when we can get back to normality . We start a new season from scratch and follow the lower leagues example instead of leaving it in doubt. Clubs can then prepare in plenty of time to prepare for the league they are in and knowing the budget they can work to.

I get where you're coming from but I think football making the right decision is of more important than us being relegated.

We've been crap all season so I'd rather we (tried to) stay up by playing games than the season being cancelled.

You could have a bottom 4/ top4 play off knockout mini competition, to see who is relegated or promoted, 1 or 2 places available .I haven't thought about it too deeply as you can tell, but similar to the Million pound game that Super league used to do.

Absolutely nothing to do with making the right decision. If it was, they’d make it now. It’s sad to say I believe it’s about money. I’d rather we stay up having stuck to ffp. Would you rather the cheats win. ?
Lots on here keep on about fairness. Giz a brek. ‘Twas on here a lot were bellyaching about Bolton staying up. Having flouted all the rules. Last time we got relegated. Relegate Wednesday. Brum n Derby. I might have some sympathy going forward.

Theres only one decision they can make. People are dying and will be doing so in increasing numbers for weeks, maybe months to come. Who gives a **** about football?
The game is so wrapped up in itself its as if they just don't get whats going on. Theyre just like panic buyers - greedy selfish and uncaring.
Cancel the season now and start afresh when this is all over. Just like they did in the previous two world wars.

if all clubs were given the choice of 'cancelling' the season or completing the season behind closed doors I think the majority would vote to cancel things because it would be in their best interests to do that ???

Exactly. Not because its the right thing to do. Self interest rules. Compare and contrast with panic buyers.
