EFL list of all play off dates and KO Times

I can't understand why they messed about with the original set up, which surely always suited everybody.
Lg Two final on the Satdy, Lg One final on the Sunday, and Championship final on the bank holiday Monday.
Simples!!.

 

I think it's a pitch getting knackered situation nowadays. Richest game in club footy played on a pitch used twice in previous 48 hours isn't a good look.

YP have run with this list, you'd like to think they'd have confirmed it with someone in officialdom, rather than just nicking it off twitter?
Be nice if EFL could stick it on their site and confirm?
Maybe they're awaiting confirmation of Ipswich's promotion.

 

Looks like the list is correct then. Can’t see YP running with it if there was any doubt.

 

Strikes me as an odd set of dates. League 1 has a week between first and second leg of semis but Championship and League 2 only have 3 or 4 days.

 

Now confirmed by the EFL, so we'll definitely be playing at Oakwell on the 20th, just a question of whether it's 12.30 or 3 o'clock.

I’ll be in a big silver bird en-route to Florida either way. As I said elsewhere, I knew I’d miss the final (if we get there) on this holiday but to miss the home semi too is very disappointing.

 

Let’s hope we go up via autos then!

 

They seem to have made finishing 4th an advantage over finishing 3rd with the timings.....
3rd playing at home on Friday at 8pm
4th playing at home Sat 3:00pm.
Unless the idea is that less away fans will turn up on a Friday evening?

Was due to go on holiday on 20th - told missus just yesterday...... 'playoffs will be done & dusted by the 20th'!! Doesn't give the winning sides long to shift Wembley tickets....

 

Months ago we booked a week in Malaga from Saturday 20th to early morning Saturday 27th so I could be back for any possible playoff final. I was pretty certain that the semi final legs would be the 12th/13th/14th weekend with the returning leg sometime in the week after, maybe Wednesday or Thursday. I have made an error it seems.

 

If we stay 4th, I'll miss the away leg - took some work, assuming it'd be Thurs/Frid

 

I'll miss the 1st leg away at Bolton but will make the home tie. Should be bouncing. Better to get them in the Semi rather than the final.

 

Yeah, don’t mind who we play as long as we finish 4th, to get the 2 Saturday 3pm KOs. That is should plan A, going up automatically, doesn’t happen

 

Yep - still hoping for that but I think the reality is, that's gone.

It makes tomorrow's game a bit weird in that I can see why Ipswich will be desperate to win, but win, draw or lose will as likely make absolutely no difference to our final league position. Mind you - I hope the players are taking a rather more optimistic view than I am

 

Yep same boat mate, miss home leg now on a bird too, but not quite to Florida we're on way to Fuertaventura. Back for potential final but will be putting trust in other people to get us tickets and transport!!

 

Tickets won't be an issue, unless it's against Wednesday, as they'll get 75000 tickets

 

It does seem weird that they don't announce these months out. Clearly doesn't depend on who is playing as that is unknown as yet. I've a much less significant error of judgement issue as supposed to be at T20 launch matches at Edgbaston having incorrectly worked on the same assumption. Hoping for a rainy day as that's only circumstance I will get refunded....
