Can you show me something from scientists who disagree over whether the vaccines give immunity, I can't find anything serious anywhere.

Yes I’ll do that, and what do you mean by serious? As in, you don’t agree with it so it’s not serious?

I’ll post a few bits once I’ve finished work. PS, I’m not arguing. I’m just saying it’s extremely alarming how many people have had a vaccine they know nothing about.

In a conversation with my doctor “dan do you want your jab doing while you’re here?”
    No
    “Why”
I explained my reasons and that there’s no need whatsoever for anyone who’s fit and healthy to take a vaccine.
“Well it’s all we have isn’t it!”
So if it’s all we have does that make it right? So I’ll go and dislocate my shoulder and I’ll put a plaster on it. It’s all I’ve got.

Published by a serious organisation (recognised University, International or National Health organisation) or a peer reviewed journal.

The more I read of the BBS in relation to Covid, the more convinced I am that this is mother nature's way of doing away with people with low IQs.

Honestly despair at people believing ex-footballers and random Youtubers over medical experts.

Did we get a full house on nob head bingo at the mention of ‘natural immunity’?

I've had various vaccines in my lifetime. Couldn't tell you a great deal about any of them. I don't even know anything about how they make paracetamol either, but I'll still take it if I have a headache.

What's betting that the vast majority of the people saying stuff like this have taken some form of illegal substances in their lives, too. It's laughable.

If they don't want it fair enough, no problem with that. What I don't think is on however is sharing unsubstantiated ******** from the likes of Matt Le Tissier and attempting to put others off.

Only heard of WWE and Imperial Leather, the Lancet is that a cycling magazine edited by Lance Armstrong? I know he's a cheat but they're all at it and he's our kind of cheat, if you catch my drift.

There should be laws against trying to influence others to ignore public health guidance. Fighting this pandemic has been made harder because of people sharing irresponsible stuff.

Irresponsible is too polite, complete batsh*t crazy more like.
Before the advent of the Internet, folk listened to advice from qualified people linked to the sciences. Then the media went rogue and gave oxygen to folk like Andrew Wakefield.
Do these people still visit their GP? If so do they listen or do they tear up their perceptions and walk into the nearest pharmacist, and go all Countdown and ask for a random 3 items from top shelf and 2 from the bottom?

How much of the really out there stuff do you think influences people and is absorbed before they make a decision? I’d say a tiny, tiny amount. You hear about it a lot more because it’s such an outlier view and stance.

The biggest challenge to fighting this pandemic has been the media and the constant use of one side of the discussion on stats. Not the odd conspiracy theory that in reality is only really touching 0.001% of the population. Our terrible decision making, and how divided people have become, might not have happened so severely with proper and detailed presentations of the situation.

I think you severely underestimate how many people believe everything they read on Twitbook.

Completely agree. Plenty on here alone and no doubt a few more that won't stick their neck out and admit it.

Most vaccines require boosters, some viruses need daily or weekly treatments. This is no different. If you travel the world regularly, you have loads of boosters or vaccines.
If you work in a business area which makes you come into contact with people from all over the globe you require vaccines.
I'm in a job where I have to be vaccinated against most viruses or diseases. No vaccines no job.
I might never travel to the countries but come into contact with folk from parts of the world which have certain viruses and diseases. I had Covid pre vaccine it nailed me, I've never had any other health issues.

Brazil, Britain and US, countries with highest figures all have nutters in charge. All have been a hotbed for disinformation going back years. Certain media outlets have been corroding trust in professionals for years. I agree communication is an issue, but scientists need help in doing this. Instead you've got mixed messages due to the folk in charge. Those who've got into power on the back of disinformation, are reaping what they've created.
The problem at the minute is, folk are desensitised to facts that no matter how you present facts they'll be ignored. Instead a Facebook post with shiny letters and limited text gets all the attention. That's another issue, folk now have no attention span. It takes time to research properly, folk can't be bothered. Who needs to read legal text (Mr Raab), when it can be summarised in 2 tweets?
