No where have I stated I am in full support of the Royal family - I am not. I dont have a strong opinion - if we didnt have one I wouldnt be fighting to invent one - but neither am I fighting to get rid - especially as the alternatives for a head of state arent significantly better in my opinion.

Oh and even Farnham has a rapidly expanding foodbank system - even in the affluent South East there is poverty in many families - probably not to the same extent as in Dundee but at least there is a chance the local MP up there cares - my local MP is Jeremy Hunt! - I expect HRH doesnt want her subjects in poverty any more than you or I do and she also has as much chance of fixing it as me. Jeremy has much more chance but I bet he doesn't do anything to alleviate it

If you could only throw off the yoke of English oppression by virtue if the reinstatement of the Stuart line, would you take it?

Great post, totally agree with you. I just wonder if there was a referendum whether she and her tribe would be booted out of her privileged life. I really don't think she has the support that the media would make us believe. She ain't my queen for sure.

Oh and even Farnham has a rapidly expanding foodbank system

I'm really sorry to be hearing that. No one in 2015 should be finding themselves having to apply to organisations for food. My point was we have people desperate to feed their families and the royals are seen on tv at lord mayors banquets etc etc. Stuffing their faces when others are virtually begging for food.

We'd all like to have been born with a silver spoon in our mouths. But we weren't. But we are still expected to help keep HRH and co live the life of reilly.

Hmm Jeremy Hunt. Absolute lovely person. As you say doubt he will bother. My own MP Stewart Hosie, who I am friendly with does at least care. In fact most of our MPs in Scotland possibly do care more than your tory lot darn sarf.
Lets not get into the Scottish Inde thing here but its not hard to see why the SNP had so much success at the last election. The tories are a vile lot.

Possibly yes RedStar. But let me say, its not English oppression its Right Wing Tory oppression. Mostly English but other maggots like Alistair Darling, Gordon Brown, Dougie Alexander and Alistair Carmichael who all IMO were traitors to Scotland throughout the inde elections. All looking to feather their own nests at ordinary Scots peoples expence. FFS that lovely person Darling couldna wait to put on his funny robe and get into the house of lords. His reward for making sure Scotland failed to get independence.

In a scrap I'm going for Her Madge.

Seems weird to me that anyone thinks having the monarchy is a good idea in this day and age. Nowt so strange as folks.

Eh? And you think Frau Windsor can stop Cameron doing what he wants? Sorry but not a chance.

Our only hope here is Nicola Sturgeon. Oor Dave is **** scared of her.

She could take over Balmoral, the only thing is that constant jerking of her head when she talks would dislodge the crown.

No surprise, there is something menacing and sinister about Sturgeon, in a Pennywise way. Or Chucky.

TBF its not the Queen who I'm really against. Its the establishment and the upper classes. The queen is just a harmless auld woman.

Oh! wait a minute. Remember Diana? Maybe not so harmless.
