Just a few names who have been in line for a place in the last year.

I thought it was the Women playing tonight!

Praise when it's due and slate them when it's needed i.e. Tonight.

We are simply not good enough!
When it comes to the one day format of the game we are so far behind some of the top teams it is unreal. The top teams when batting have a totally different mentality to us, from ball one they try and hit the ball for 6 and do not hold back, our players on the other hand are quite happy just to get the odd single here and there and even towards the end of the game there is no-one apart from Pietersen on a good day who is capable of taking the game to the opposition bowlers. The top teams have 4 or 5 Pietersen type of players who they can rely on to have a good day, our mentality has to change in the one day format but unfortunately we don’t have the players who are capable of dominating a game. Thought we would just about win the game today but to have lost is a disgrace, there should be no excuses! (N)

    RE: Vaughan? You are joking...

Have you not been watching him the past month or so? He's got some really good scores and been finding his form. He's even averaging nearly 47 in the one day format this season........

Just because you dont like something doesn't mean that other people dont care about it. I care. And my brother is absolutley gutted, he has tickets to watch England in the next round.

Even after a pitiful last nine overs with the bat, we should have been able to defend 162 against Holland.
Whilst one or two of the bowlers performed poorly, I thought Collingwood's captaincy on the night was awful. He needed to take wickets to put the brakes on them and he didn't turn to one of his better bowlers on preferring himself and Luke Wright to continue.
And how many shots went through extra cover and cow corner! Dreadful.
Sadly your brother may not see England in the latter stages!

I agree with everything you say. Also, what was Broad doing at the end? He should have just picked the ball up and took a super over.
