Trouble is, everyone wants a piece of you after making history like that. Hope she's really enjoyed herself, plenty of time to win more titles.
She plays Sloane Stephens once the Musetti vs Minaur match is over which is currently 1-1 in the 4th set. She's only won two matches in the four tournaments she's done since the US Open so could do with a win when she starts sometime around 11 am... https://www.wtatennis.com/players/328366/emma-raducanu/matches
Think she’ll be on the first plane home but hope I’m wrong. I’d love to see another good run in a tournament.
she was absolutely eviscerated last week in the warm up tournament only winning one game in her match, it was awful to watch actually and doesn't bode well, but I hope she is not too heavily criticised after all she's hardly played anyone in the top 20 in her short career so far
dropping her coach straight after the us open, seemed like an odd decision. hope she gets her groove back
She’s flying at the minute! Admittedly against an opponent that hasn’t played much in the last few months, but still …
She suffered because of being coach-less for a couple of months after the US Open. I don't really understand why she was so hasty in making that change, when no-one was immediately lined up. She should have been encouraged to knuckle back down to her tennis and swerve the celebrity stuff a bit quicker than she did.
US Open champion just a few years ago, French Open runner up just a couple of years back, as high as number three in the world and clearly one of the very best players in the world on her day. Emma was underdog coming into this in my eyes. What she did in America was unreal. She isn't automatically going to win every match. Great battle now this one.
