    I predict a shock return to Barnsley for Luke Thomas who will fill the right wing back role vacated by Williams as well as covering right midfield or covering as a right sided attacker in a front three

    I think we need somebody like Luke Thomas,someone who can link up the midfield and the strikers.

    Have to say at this stage, disappointing. I only say that because Clarke said he would like to see most of our business done for the start of pre-season. So to have no business done, feels underwhelming. Can only dine on Conor for so long.

    I wouldn't expect all our business to be done before pre season, but I would expect 2 or 3 new faces given we have so many positions to recruit for.

    Agree, far from panic stations as we still have time to get deals done but would have hoped/expected a bit more by now.

    Fingers crossed we get something this week.

    We’ve highlighted every season that not having players in for a full preseason hindered our starts. Doesn’t look like muchs changed for this one unless we start to get some bodies through the door in the next couple of weeks.

    We know exactly what will be rolled out for the first couple of months...... 'hasn't had a full pre season', 'need time to gel and get up to speed' etc

    June now passed and we are now in July and still no signings.. Can't say I am sad to see the back of Oli Shaw and Dallas who I feel were pointless signings who were not up to standard. However I hoped some signings would be in place so they could have a full preseason to gel as a team. There is still time but the clock is ticking and no news yet from Oakwell of incoming players...
