I like how we make out this is supposed to be a walkover for us, Germanys 3rd X1 as its been called on here still has half a dozen players who if they were Enlgish would be 1st team regulars! How many of our players have done owt in Europe for their clubs? Rooney, Gerrard, Cole Yes but the others haven't, half of this German team are regulars for Dortmund
Phil Jones? Jesus wept. Johnson's worse than Walker. Wilshere I really like, but he's got a lot to prove yet. In other words, your changes are pretty much 'meh' and like for like. Average for average. Now tell me the German lineup...
Germany have a much stronger league and financially sound set up than we do. It reflects our respective economies. That team I am watching now is there because of all the problems with our league structure and FA. All the average foreigners sapping all the money out of the game and out of the country, ultimately. Bent chairman and mercenary managers and players. This is the best we can produce in that environment. It's nothing to do with patriotism, or nationalism in some cases - it's about making a realistic assessment of what you've got and this is not a strong side. The players that are missing would make very little difference to this team. Walcott an international footballer? No.
Wilshere's problem is he's soft as *****. You can guarantee that if he loses the ball he'll be on the ground for at least 20 seconds.
Phil Jones as been playing well in midfield. Manchester united always play him in the big games and so do England. He had the so called ''amazing'' Ozil in his pocket when Arsenal played Manchester united. Played well in Brazil too in the draw and he also played well against Spain when England beat them in that friendly. He's a good player Jones. Still young and needs to be given time but a very rare talent
Rare? Why? And he looks better at Man Utd because most of their players are foreigners. It was a nothing game against Arsenal, settled by a world class striker. Nowt to do with Jones. Ozil is not 'so-called' amazing. He is amazing.
3rd 11 for Germany? The commentator went through them all and basically said that most of them are considered regulars...there are three or four England players who you wouldn't consider regulars either. Germany, and German football, is massively overrated - it's just another bandwagon that has been jumped on by the media and subsequently a lot of the public in 2013.
No Hummels, Janssen, Ozil, Khedira, Schweinsteiger, Schurlle, Muller, Howedes, Lahm or Neuer. Just off the top of my head. All regulars. All played on Friday I think.
You can't say the truth about them, Jedstar. There wrong. This is there 8th team and if they were playing there 7th they would be winning 8-0 by now because there that brilliant.
