Good header. Been playing better recently. Made to think there best defender gets dropped and they start to get better at the back.

3 England defenders beaten in the air by one German. Clown defending. Just not international quality.

He's better than Smalling. Awful marking there from the Manchester United centre half. :D

Smalling, Jones, Cleverley - all Man Utd squad players and nowhere near good enough for international football at the top level. If they left Old Trafford they would go the same way as Gibson, Oshea, Brown and many others have before them!!

I've been bigging up German football, especially the financial and club management aspects a long time before the main stream media caught on.

The entire set up is designed for success.

How clubs are run are designed to keep them out of control of people like Vincent tan, the glaziers etc.

And I think I'll take Michael ******** opinions regarding who is considered a regular than those two tosspots providing expert commentary.

They have big debt % DeeTee. I showed you that forbes list.
Ballack talks rubbish. He did when he was at chelsea and was a disgrace at the end of the match against Barcelona.

Weren't you on his side back then? You know, back when you used to argue Spanish football was **** despite the evidence to the contrary?

Not denying they aren't doing it the right way, but it's a very idealistic view...it's not a particularly competitive league outside of the top few clubs and players will always follow the money given that it's a short career. As a result, the best players eventually leave and as a result the TV rights are worth (in comparison) naff all. What it does do is allow more young Germans to get a chance at first team level, but the suggestions that we are poles apart from them in terms of quality is laughable. It's easy to look at players you don't see week in week out and think they are amazing, how many times has a highly rated player come to England and look extremely average?

I tend to watch more bundesliga than premiership football as it's more enjoyable and isn't ruined by the incessant hype of the EPL and British media.

Quality wise they are head and shoulders above England. And a lot of that is down to the fact the German fa made the effort to develop German qualifying players not shelf stacking every teenager from Spain and Belgium you can find.

Let's be right Germany has the best record of any team in international tournaments ...

The blue prints there. But nothing will change and within a few years England will be closer to wales than Germany in the rankings.

Sky run English Football not the FA. Can you imagine us diluting the talent of the premier league for a few years to throw in some youngsters, the TV deal money wouldn't be worth half as much as it is now. The clubs sold out in 1992 as did the FA, no turning back now

Embarassment of riches in Germany. Englands best eleven looked like a set of 11 stephen dawsons running around having no clue.

World Cup will be abysmal, hope Roys sacked before it if we want to get out of our group.

We'll do well t get out of group stage whether Roys in charge or not but calling for his head after he qualified with a bunch of as beens and misfits and finding Townsend from obscurity is. Bit much imo
