decent day for england and would have taken 137/5* at the end of play though anything around 250+ could be tricky chasing but we're in the box seat i reckon
I’m not really a cricket fan, but watched a lot of today’s test as it’s been pretty hyped up on here and in the media recently. Looks like we’re really playing to our strengths and while I’m sure we couldn’t play like this in the Ashes tests, it’s pretty engaging to watch.
i think the crowd enhances the game, here, trent bridge & old trafford usually get the best atmosphere, maybe because of the alcohol intake of the northerners ;-)
Foakes out with covid so replaced by Billings. I fancy us to get the last five wickets quickly today.
Could it be a first that 3 different players keep wicket in one test match ? There’s chance of 4 yet !
Free entry tomorrow and if you're good @JamDrop will let you park at hers to save on the parking https://www.facebook.com/1100222924...B9NYFLqD2s1knhBTheK14e8wUKRQdC2ytvmJPUNhsd5l/
You’d have a job on. I couldn’t even get parked myself today! I saw traffic wardens giving out a LOT of tickets this morning. I’m surprised I didn’t get one yesterday as I was blocking our drive (that had Will’s car on). They wouldn’t know it was my own house though.
Anyone got one of the free tickets for tomorrow? I have and surprised how easy it was. Absolutely thrilled as I have never seen England play before! Can’t wait.
My one and only test cricket day happened to be when Boycott scored his 100th first class century. Free ticket by virtue of my mate's dad being on the Yorkshire CC board. We could clearly see that he was asleep on the members balcony when Geoffrey did the deed.
Is it possible to drive a car on to whatever front garden you have or would you be ruining plants and flowers? You'd make a tidy sum tomorrow on one of those rent my drive websites.
It’d wreck it. There’s loads of free parking to be had around here to be fair. What time will it end tomorrow? I’m working a bit later but might stay longer if it means everyone will have sod off by then.
