21085 my queue number 14000 + users in front of me. At 4 per request allowed. I somehow think I'll not be getting in.
I just got lucky. I was browsing Facebook when the YCCC announcement was made so I jumped straight in. Only waited about 15 mins and there was a choice of stands available. I like to be behind the bowler’s arm so undercover in the Trueman enclosure is perfect with a bit of rain forecast for tomorrow morning.
That’s a long queue. I was very lucky to get in so early before Hussain announced it on Sky. Just hope we don’t mess if up!
Love this brand of test Cricket where even with plenty of time left we go above four a over to put the pressure back on the opponents.
Boycott is a strange character. He never looks directly at you. Or not so with me. Can't blame him for that, but because he was a local hero a bit of eye contact would have been nice. Went to a cricket clinic of his. Played football with him at Fitzwilliam (he was widely available to do owt to keep him fit.) He was always doling out advice but it was always constructive. He wasn't short on criticism, but it always seemed right to me. Odd dude with a shady cv. As my spouse says about me.
Well we don't do bad playing with ten men. Crawley flipping again with the bat after running out Lees. Surely he won't be picked for India next Friday...
I don’t know enough about Cricket to comment. Very rare I watch any, but can tell when a team are feeling the psychological pressure. It’s flipped around a bit now cos NZ have just wasted two reviews. The first one was ridiculousZ
Who was at fault for the run out? Him or Lees? Neither looked to be communicating well. I don’t watch any cricket except when there’s bugger all else on the telly so have no opinion!
Just watching the last session now after coming back from sons footy tournament. On the replay it looked like Crawley s fault for not moving quickly enough but I'm not 100% sure
Going to the ODI in July Saw Root get his century last year, beautiful to watch and when he was out he was sat on the balcony right near us chatting away to the crowd and looking so happy. Thought I'd have rather have gone the day before when England got all the wickets but it was a class century.
Hmm I’m getting a bit worried now. I thought let’s get to about 90 odd for 2 at close of play then I can see us knock off the 200 by mid afternoon tomorrow. With play extended to 1850 tonight and the runs flowing I can see us winning by lunch tomorrow. In that case, is it worth going even on a free ticket?
