Dammit only 113 to win. I should go though. First time I will have seen England play, even if it’s all over in a couple of hours, got to be worth it on a free ticket. Great that Root is still in as well. I see the weather looks a bit dodgy in the morning so I’ll see how it looks before getting the train to Burley
i wouldn't be too sure of motm yet, for me leach gets it regardless now, broke key partnerships in the 1st and stopped the tail wagging in the 2nd pretty sure any yorkshire hero wouldn't begrudge him
bit harsh, game should be over 2pm ish on a workday so guessing only locals/retired there anyway notts game was different being a sunday freebie and was set to be a decent full day
Not really personal, more just a blanket assessment. If a hypothetical person signs up for a ticket and doesn't use it, thus denying somebody else the opportunity to attend, then I'd say that makes this hypothetical person a bit of a knob.
Exactly . It’s a short hop on the train for me but I still have to assess whether it’s worth the hassle for: a. A possible long wait for play because rain is forecast. b. A quick end to the match with only 113 needed. Trent Bridge was a fantastic last day. I suspect the Kiwis have already written this one off
honestly if it rained all morning and play expected to start at 4pm for 3hrs i'd consider it after work, n i'm in wombwell!
I had queue number in the 28,000's with just under 15k in front of me when I logged on at 18:20. Very surprised to be able to get tickets at 21:35 when my number came up!
Well that’s a surprise well done I was listening to Test Match Special whilst driving back from Wombwell this afternoon and they said it was sold out well before the end of play
It was a bit odd. If you selected 'Best Seats Available', nothing showed up. If you chose to choose your own seats there were a few sections of the stadium where there was still availability to choose individual seats. Good job I'm a persevering type who tries all the options!
Arf arf! It was fun watching Broady and the lads playing head tennis for a while, and Rooty smashing balls into a net. But the field is now deserted and no indication of the covers coming off any time soon
