Wonder what the odds are for England and Fulham to score 10 in the same week?

Looks like Italy are joining Portugal in the play-offs.

One England corner in over 80 minutes of Football and they still managed to get a yellow.

Stopping pointless matches like tonight should have been done years ago. It's a waste of time for all involved.

Should be a secondary tier like in cricket. Associate members or whatever they are called. The likes of Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, Netherlands, Ireland battling it out for a chance against the big boys.

Long since been the case that countries like San Marino, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Scotland etc should have their own lower level comp where the winners get a chance to have a game against the big misters.

I saw a comment on the BBC feed last night saying that the only way teams like San Marino would improve was continued opportunity to play the bigger nations.
That's just ridiculous. Their population is so small they'll never be anything but cannon fodder unless they hit a once in a million point on the cycle where they suddenly have eleven international standard footballers born at the same time. It's as likely as finding the infinite monkey that types the full works of Shakespeare.
They've won one of 180 odd internationals.
Playing Andorra and San Marino in the same group is a total waste of time in a condensed calendar. It's pointless.
As has been said, have them play a preliminary group system with a couple of them qualifying for the main draw.

I'd have a World Cup where the best nations automatically qualify. It's all about money. Get rid of qualifiers altogether and have training camps just before major tournaments. Deep down Fifa will think it's a disaster that Italy haven't automatically qualified and risk going out before the tournament starts.

I disagree. Yes they may get stuffed most matches but the one time they get a draw will be the equivalent of non league teams beating / drawing with a Prem side
