    Team looks scared to attack as a unit. More passing and movement when we have the ball at the back. Southgate has coached attacking out of them. They are relying on an individual one off act of brilliance.

    Yes , if the guy on the ball doesnt beat his man , there isnt any movement in front of him so its backwards most of the time.

    I reckon Kane’s carrying an injury and is being dishonest with Southgate, l can’t see any other reason for his slow sluggish attitude, he almost seams disinterested and a yard behind play.

    Why not stare it down, it's an anthem and then abuse em and make it uncomfortable for the entire match. They need to take some lessons from the Ponty End.

    My synopsis so far
    Rice and Phillips are lucky they haven't been sent off. Both could easily have been reds.
    Maguire is a poor poor player. Phillips is even worse

    If Kane hadn't just missed the easiest chance in the history of international football I wouldn't have known the lazy **** was on the pitch.

    Oh and laying down on the floor when defending a free kick is the football equivalent of playing grass in the school Nativity

    Phillips and Rice are now passengers, both booked. Time to get Henderson, Foden or Mount and Grealish on. No point playing safe, both Rice and Phillips play on the edge. They're just extra numbers now.
