I’ve got to say I’ve found the last two England games a lot more enjoyable.

It’s so nice to have wingers on the pitch & full backs playing on the proper side of the pitch (except Lewis first half against Greece).

Balance of the team looks so much better & it’s more entertaining.

I’ve always been of the belief that I’d play a mid table player in his best position over a top of the table player out of position. Hopefully the days of right footers at left back & no. 10’s on the wing will end under Tuchel.

They’re nearly all unknowns to me. Must be a sign of aging because I do watch MOTD, even though it’s on FF when the “experts “ are filling their chat slots

As someone who hates our National Anthem, I couldn’t agree more. This seems to becoming a ‘trend’ now and not just just within the British isles, Time to scrap the playing of National Anthems I think.

Yes, but I don’t think it’ll be too long before domestic league clubs come calling for him.

I’m opposite, I love singing the anthem tbh, all opinions though……

I can’t remember a game where I’ve watched England were the anthems were met with such hostility, it seems cool to boo our anthem whilst the opposition by and large is respected…….it can’t have sounded great on the tele though

I’d leave him where he is personally

I wouldn't say it's a trend. Probably been going on for three decades now

I thought there were 4-5 set pieces yesterday where it was clear we'd been working on them.

I used to collect England (as well as Barnsley) programmes, for matches going as far back as the 70s.
They would usually put something in about not booing our opponents anthem, and Don Revie often mentioned it in his page comments.
But as pathetic as it is, we're not the only nations fans who do it!.

I agree, said to me dad you can see the progress. So simple some of them but brilliantly done and unfortunate not to score at least 1 from a set piece
