Might seem a harsh penalty, but as Wrighty just said, if that happens on the half way line, then it gets given as a foul all day long, so it's a penalty, and he's not wrong.

It makes me think of the pen not given to us at Wembley.
The defender is being genuine, as he's swinging for the ball, but he does make contact with our player instead. Not a booking though!.

If that's a penalty then the game need a serious look at itself. Before that, VAR has been operated pretty sensibly...

For their goal I don’t apportion blame to the keeper, the slow motion replay doesn’t do justice to the pace on the shot and I think he was unsighted.

For me you have to look at Declan Rice; dawdled on the ball then fell over when challenged - the lad runs on and hits a brilliant shot.

Never a penalty for me - I don’t think it’s a foul anywhere else on the pitch as some have said. They get given, but Kane kicked him in his follow through as opposed to Dumfries fouling him. But we’ve had bad decisions against us plenty.

After the equaliser, until maybe 40 minutes, I thought we were very good. Mainoo is an unbelievable talent, and Phil Foden has looked more like Phil Foden.

I'd like to see Shaw on early. Trippier on the left definitely still the weak link. Will give them even more problems.

Outside the area a foul would be given.9 times out of 10 so in the area its a penalty.

I wouldn’t say clear cut, but quite rightly given. Rushing out studs up is dangerous & would put anyone off their shot..

Thought same....or some attacking intent with Gordon.
Guess he won't until 80 mins though.
Kane imho who has been our best player of yesteryear...shouldn't be disappointed if he gets subbed...imho

We appear to be divided over the penalty decision. Hands up all them, who’d rather be losing..?

Fair point that. I think the only one who'd rather us be losing is a certain Scottish gentleman

He's finally done the right thing in starting Foden through the middle again where he is brilliant, he needs to put Shaw on now. And for Christ sake, I wish Kane made forward runs. We've got so many people who can drive with the ball but will never be able to play a good through ball because Kane always has his back to goal

It’s not about losing. It’s about having no idea what the rules are anymore.

It's like it was the untalented twin Paul Foden went home last week and Phil Foden finally flew out to Germany after his partner had their baby!

Kane still drops too deep for my liking.
