    I'm glad I didn't join in with this match day thread earlier, as it sounds really awful.

    At the end of the day South Africa have invested everything into the 50-over game in the last few years while the ECB have relegated it to 2nd team joke of an afterthought in favour of the circus that is the 16.4 over “competition”. The results are there for all to see. I wouldn’t pay to watch an England ODI while it’s being staffed by players who haven’t played a domestic 50-over game for 2 years.
