Some really good young and hard working players in that team though. Best it’s looked on paper for a decade if you ask me.

They’ve been really poor tonight what I’ve seen. Should be blowing teams like Israel away at hampden. Seem to be missing Tierney, and Christie especially.

I can’t see the euros going ahead sadly. Would be surprised if they do!

I thought Scotland played well. They had more urgency and could have nicked it late on. I think Paterson has raw ability and is a good focal point for attacks but he gives away too many easy free-kicks and needs to curb that side of his game a bit as it lets the opposition off the hook.

The results keep flattering Southgate, he's awful tactically. Playing 3 CDMs in last game before this for example.

Needs sacking and a good attacking coach brought in. This England team is entering another golden generation and could be wasted just to have a coach who is inoffensive and boring.

Basically wanted the man least likely to cause scandal after Fat Sam embarrassed them.
So picked a boring yes man who can't even decide what style of football he plays, has no track record as a coach and was fired from every job prev except as England youth coach where basically no one is sacked.
