    Two penalty shoot-outs in major tournaments - both lost. Fortunately the last one was in 2011 so there should be no bearing on the current players.

    Germany have won two of three they've been in.

    I think 4 of those were when he was 19 in Euro 2004 and he was absolutely electric. After that tournament he massively underachieved for England.
